That little toddler jumping on the bed just so happens to be the little guy who kickstarted my career. My first photo session was doing maternity photos with Meghann, my friend of 24 (?!) years. Since then we have grown by two more little boys, and a lot less time to have an uninterrupted conversation. My favorite thing about being a family photographer is watching families grow, especially when they are lifelong friends. When I see those first maternity photos now, I realize just how special it was to document the beginnings of this family. xo

Bennett :: Newborn Lifestyle Photographer :: Portland, OR.
I first met Barbara and Joel when we took their maternity photos in March (you can see those photos here). She was due a day after me and we were excited to see how a newborn photoshoot would work out, given we didn't know whose was coming first! Bennett came into the world on June 8th. I brought my new assistant Hugo along for the fun and he proved himself to be an excellent...sleeper. We had so much fun talking about our new additions and sharing our birth stories that I completely lost track of time. And this is why I love my job. I look forward to seeing this beautiful family grow!
Oskar + Otto :: Newborn Lifestyle Session :: Portland, OR.
I played high school volleyball with Danielle and have not see her since our glory days. It was really sweet to meet her husband, Thor, and to see what a beautiful mother she has become to these two adorable boys, Oskar (2) and Otto (2 weeks in these photos!). Thank you for trusting me to capture this sweet time in your life, a family growing from 3 to 4!
The Hunters :: Newborn Ethan :: West Linn, Oregon.
It is such a joy to witness people gracefully transition into parenthood. These two couldn't be more patient, kind, and loving to their precious 3 week old son, Ethan. Thank you for welcoming me into your home (for many hours)!
